Tips ini saya dapat dari forum Indowebster. Bisa untuk install windows XP yang error maupun untuk upgrade dari SP2 ke SP3 dsb, tanpa harus menginstall ulang driver maupun program-program yang ada di dalamnya.
Berikut tips dan trik Instal full windows xp tanpa format(bukan REPAIR)
1. Buka Windows XP dari cd windows xp
atau dari hardisk kalau master windowsnya ada di harddisk.
2. Cari lokasi dari file 'WinNT32' adanya di dalem folder \i386.
Contoh (asumsi E adalah CD drive) :
e:\I386\winnt32
3. Kalau sudah ketemu, klik Start > Run
Ketik: e:\I386\winnt32 /unattend
Pastikan antara "\winnt32" dan "/" ada spasi lalu tekan Enter atau Run.
4. Windows akan langsung proses dan restart lalu mulai proses instalasi windows
5. Setelah selesai instalasi... tinggal pake deh... gak perlu instal driver2 dan laen-2 semuanya full ga ada file atau program yg ilang.
Silahkan dicoba, saya belum mencobanya karena windows aku belum rusak, hehe... tapi menurut penulisnya, sudah dicoba dan bahkan upgrade dari SP2 ke SP3 tanpa ada error sedikitpun. Semoga berhasil.
